Frequently Asked Questions:
Why is STEM for Kids important for my child?
STEM for Kids programs provide the mechanism to help children learn to problem solve effectively. We do this by pulling together science, technology, engineering, and math in real world focused, fun, and engaging activities. By combining the concepts, the brain develops ‘muscles’ to attack problems not only in multiple ways but minimizing the time wasted being frustrated by failure. Children learn failure is part of the process. The result of our programs is that children develop strong skills in critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication; life skills that apply to all areas including but certainly not limited to, future careers in the STEM field. Our ultimate goal is to create a positive association with learning.
